HRBA Current Program
Attention all Team Owners, Managers, Coaches, individual players and all basketball enthusiasts announcing the upcoming 2012 HRBA Escarpment View Cup . This is a tournament specially designed to represent all the kids, the youth and the seniors regardless of race and nationalities in Halton Region and nearby cities and towns. Everyone is invited to join and be a part of this weekend encounter of the very best squad in basketball.
Three (3) exciting divisions will be competing for the gold, each team given a guaranteed three games.
- Elementary - 14 years old and under
- Junior/Senior High School - 15 to 17 years old
- Senior - 35 years old and up

HRBA Past Programs

The very first HRBA program offering fun and leisure which will be one of the lists of recreational activities among Canadians can look forward as soon as the flower starts to bloom and leaves starts to go green again.
The event is an indoor activity that will cater friendly competitions through the sports of Basketball. Different teams from the Region of Halton comprising the Town of Milton, the City of Oakville, the City of Burlington and the Town of Halton Hills will show their abilities, skills and talents to the delight of parents, friends and spectators. Nearby cities and town in PEEL Region and Hamilton area to as far as Kitchener-Waterloo are also welcome to join and participate. The league expected to lasts for three (3) months will provide each participating team a guaranteed five (5) games or more depending on its performance as the tournament progress. Players will have the opportunity and assurance of equal playing time as clearly stated in HRBA’s Rules and Regulations. An All Star games as we go halfway, will be the added attraction which will feature the Northeastern and Southwestern all stars. Selected players from participating teams are chosen to represent these groups. Three-point shootouts will also one of the highlight on this occasion. A special day for us to recognized family members who have displayed exceptional skills and ability in this sport.
Concluding the tournament will be the awarding ceremonies on the final day right after the Championship match securing the CHAMPION Team and the second BEST. Gold, Silver medals and a trophy will be presented as major prize for their achievements.
Additional opportunity and honor will the selection of 12 -15 players who will have the right to represent HRBA in the upcoming and future summer, Invitational and Inter-City Tournaments.
